Their product is truly unique: customers can refill their bottles from a jerry can of the spirit, saving packaging and creating a unique customer experience.

These refillable bottle posed an unusual challenge for any label producer. DropWorks turned to Autajon Labels Royston for their technical knowledge and collaborative approach to help their rebrand succeed.

Designing for Distinction and Durability

DropWorks’ refill model made things interesting. Standard paper stock and finishes weren’t going to cut it: not when bottles would be handled, refilled, and reused. The label had to hold up without losing its edge.

Autajon Labels Royston developed a bespoke solution:

  • Polypropylene base for strength and flexibility
  • Cold foil to deliver that premium, eye-catching detail
  • Laminated finish with tactile varnish for a sensory hit and added protection

This rare combination of materials and finishes resulted in a label that both matched the brand’s modern aesthetic while meeting the practical demands of reuse. And, thanks to their wide variety of label formats, Autajon Labels Royston were also able to produce miniature versions of their 70cl bottle labels for application to Dropworks’ 5cl bottles.

A Label That Does the Brand Justice

Despite the challenges – a multi-stakeholder environment and a fast-moving brand vision – the final result delivered.

Impressed by the quality of the work and the ease of working with Autajon Labels Royston, DropWorks have continued the relationship, commissioning further labels as they extend their product range.
