INNOVATIVE LAMINATING

Historically used for protection, but now more frequently for appearance. Thin layer of durable polyester or polypropylene film.
Improves durability and moisture resistance.
Available in a wide variety of striking textural and visual finishes. Options for High gloss, textured, matte, soft touch, silk and UV resistance. Offers longevity and durability, particularly when compared to varnish techniques.

EMBOSSING & DEBOSSING

Bring textured detail to your label. Add three-dimensional quality. Embossing and debossing (including multi-level and sculptured 3D) create either a raised or dipped effect. Finished effect lends a subtle and sophisticated textural quality.

RAISED, TACTILE & SPOT VARNISH

Although varnishes mostly provide protection to a label they also can be used to add premiumisation.

Standard low level varnishes printed using the flexographic print process are available in gloss, satin and matt with special additions like pearlescent, soft touch, reticulated, rough touch and frosted finishes.

Mid to high level varnishes printed using either flatbed or rotary silk screen can really enhance the look and feel of a label, these high builds work better in gloss but are also available in matt and we can also add glitter as another option.

COLD FOLING

This is an efficient and affordable foiling solution for adding foil to coated papers and synthetic materials.

There is a variety of metallic colours and we can also overprint to produce bespoke metallic finishes.

Origination cost is in line with standard printed colours and the quality is extremely good.

HOT FOILING

Traditional and popular technique for the eye-catching, premium finish it lends to packaging.

Available as metallic, reflective, pigmented, holographic silver and transparent foils. Incredible effects can be created using flat & fluted foil blocking and textured foiling dies.

We have flatbed and rotary solutions available to suit any design requirements.

ANTI-COUNTERFEITING & SECURITY PRODUCTS

Anti – Counterfeiting solutions are hard–to–copy features, integrated with labels, that enable authorities and/or consumers to tell between an authentic product and a counterfeit one. They can be combined with tamper-evident features to meet any required security level.

These include: Security holograms, Security papers, Security threads, IR taggants, Photochromic & thermochromic inks, Track & trace inks, Optical variable inks, Variable data or variably printed images. Micro text, QR codes, NFC and RFID.

To counteract pharmaceutical counterfeiters, we have created tamper-evident and void labels that comply with European Union Directive 2011/62/EU requirements. Our security labels can reduce the risk of packaging falsification and include destructible labels, box damage films, and void labels.
