AZURE is a revolutionary new haircare line which
is natural, vegan and free from sulfates, parabens and silicones. It was created by Lesley Clarke, co-founder of the Nicky Clarke hairdressing, haircare and styling empire and launched exclusively in Boots in February.

Promising highly effective, affordable haircare which is
also kind to the planet, the range has been created using naturally sourced ingredients and packaged in a bottle made from sugarcane which is 100% recyclable. AZURE is the first line to be launched by Lesley Clarke’s new Ethical Living Ltd company and the Royston team was very proud to help bring it to market.

THE ROYSTON LABELS APPROACH

The sustainability credentials of the packaging were essential to the Ethical Living Ltd company, and we needed to find a label solution which worked in conjunction with the HDPE sugar cane bottle.

The beautiful and intricate design by Identica has vibrant swirls of vivid colour and metallic details.There were four different designs within the range, so Royston needed to provide a solution which ensured absolute consistency in colour and finish.

Our recommendation was to Flexo print a BioBase sugarcane white PE label embellished with foil to produce the gold elements of the design. A high anilox varnish was then applied to provide a tactile feel and premium finish.

The team came to see us, approved the label on press and were delighted with the results.
