For this project, which was commissioned by a new craft gin distillery in Suffolk, two labels were printed, with the front label bearing two separate images. The see-through label across the front of the bottle has been branded with the distinctive Suffolk Distillery emblem and a minimalist footer bearing the location. This ultra-clear label was specifically manufactured to allow for a view of the decorative back label.
Printed on the reverse so that the image lies against the glass, this second label depicts a tangle of fresh juniper berries on the branch. Seen from the front, this bottle tells the story of its precious, juniper-infused contents. Seen from other angles, the liquid within causes a striking distortion of the visuals, making for a truly eye-catching effect.
The Suffolk Distillery opened in 2016 and since then has been busy distilling its own unique London Dry Gin, which blends vibrant citrus notes with juniper and cassia bark.
