ABOUT SEDLESCOMBE
Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard is one of the main tourist attractions in the ‘1066 Country’ region in and around Hastings, attracting some 5,000 visitors per year to its Vineyard & Woodland Nature Trail.
England’s oldest organic wine estate comprising 22 acres of organically certified vineyards. They are an independent business established in 1979. The extensive award-winning range comprises whites, rosé, red and sparkling wines – all certified either organic or biodynamic and suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.
Royston Labels worked with the team on their 2020 Organic Collection:
1. Pinot Noir Rosé 2019 A vibrant organic rosé which presents a medley of red summer berries on the nose and palate.
2. White Solaris 2019 An aromatic orange pith bouquet, developing fresh citrus fruit and flavours on the palate.
3. Regent Red N.V. A lightly spiced organic red wine, with tantalising aromas of pepper and smoked bramble.
THE ROYSTON LABELS APPROACH
In order to create the best outcome for the Sedlescombe labels Royston labels used the HP digital printer and then applied hot foil to highlight the intricacies of the design.
Sustainability was important to the Vineyard and so we selected a material – Freelife Merida White Ultra WS (FSC certified), a Premium quality uncoated recycled paper, felt-marked on both sides, made with cotton (5%) and recycled source (40%) and with an Ultra WS treatment.
This material is ideal for wine labels as it is both ice bucket and fridge friendly.
